About
Dr. Alok Ghanekar’s expertise is in designing photonic metamaterials for potential applications in energy technology and thermal regulation. He holds a Ph.D. from the University of Rhode Island and a B.Tech. and M.Tech. from the Indian Institute of Technology Madras, all in Mechanical Engineering. He was a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Southern California. In 2022, Dr. Ghanekar was selected as a DARPA riser.
