About
Dr. Prados has 15 years experience in the application of satellite remote sensing to air pollution monitoring. She is a funded researcher through NASA’s Health and Air Quality Applied Sciences team. She is also Project Scientist for NASA’s Applied Remote Sensing Training Program, where she develops courses worldwide on the application of satellite imagery to environmental decision-making activities related to climate change, water resources, disaster, land, and air quality management. She has +10 years of environmental policy experience working with local governments on the implementation of local and regional climate and air pollution initiatives.
Research interests
Environmental policy-making in the context of disaster and climate change management. Program/project evaluation, and communicating scientific information to the public.
