About
Kai-Wing Chan’r research presently focuses on the development of high resolution x-ray optics with large collecting area. He is a member of the science teams supporting two proposals in response to NASA’s Astrophysical Probe. Previously, he was the x-ray optics lead for the science team for the STAR-X mission which went through Phase-A selection. Among other projects, Dr. Chan was on the science team and was responsible for the development of lightweight x-ray optics for the mission Astro-E and Suzaku.
