About
I am a assistant research scientist working at NASA Goddard Space Flight Center and UMBC Center for Space Sciences and Technology (CSST) through the Center for Research and Exploration in Space Science &Technology II (CRESST II) cooperative agreement. I work for the Neil Gehrels Swift Observatory, Ultraviolet/Optical Telescope (UVOT) team under the mentorship of Dr. Brad Cenko. My work involves enhancing UVOT data analysis techniques and pipelines in order to enhance our ability to detect and identify electromagnetic counterparts to gravitational wave events and other transients, and providing mission support for the UVOT in general. I also study pulsars, their wind nebulae, neutron stars, X-ray binaries, and other high-energy transient sources.
