About

I am currently an Assistant Research Scientist in the Center for Space Sciences and Technology (CSST). My researches focus on exploiting state-of-the-art cosmological simulations to study the formation and evolution of galaxies and clusters of galaxies. Specifically, I’m using cosmological simulations to explore the effect of feedback driven by super-massive black hole (SMBH) on hot atmospheres ranging from hot inter-stellar medium (ISM), circum-galactic medium (CGM), to intra-cluster medium (ICM). Such SMBH-driven feedback is considered to play essential role in not only shaping thermodynamical & chemical properties of galaxies but also in quenching their star formation.

Research interests

Modeling of X-ray emissions in galactic the circumgalactic medium (CGM) and studying the effects of supermassive black hole feedback on the CGM.
